NFT Drops Recap
Lofi Originals dropped 5,555 NFTs featuring looped video of a character with lofi audio in the background. As an interesting adaptation of music NFTs, the project has gained a serious social media following that contributed to the success of the drop. Selling out early in May, the collection now sits at a floor of .05 ETH. Its founders have exciting plans for the future, namely this 3D launch.
The Humanians are a collection of 10,000 NFTs, which minted for 0.09 ETH. This socially conscious project was created with the intention to spread awareness about body dysmorphia, with a percentage of its sales being donated towards The Body Dysmorphic Disorder Foundation and The Be Well Collective. The NFT art featured abstractly disproportionate humans, playfully dressed up. This art revealed today, May 16.
Yoomoota launched 7,777 NFTs, each called a “Curiosity,” at a mint price of 0.15 ETH. The collection is described as reflecting human emotions and personifying human physiology. As a Curiosity visits more planets in the Yoomoota universe, it earns new clothes, accessories, and other perks. This summer, Yoomoota plans to launch a mini-game, in which only Curiosity NFT holders can participate.
Ragnarok Meta dropped 7,777 “Ronin Zero” NFTs. These NFTs can be used as digital identities in the Ragnarok game, where players can battle and loot monsters. Later on, the project plans to instill a token system as well as a feature that will allow players to turn their looted objects into new NFTs. In addition, June will mark the launch of The Marketplace, Ragnarok’s very own Opensea, as they have described it. This will be the site for all Ronin trading.
After initially launching in beta during April, Coinbase NFT recently opened up its social marketplace for anyone who would like to join the platform - users will no longer be restricted to the original allow list. The opportunity is finally here to create, share, and personally curate your NFTs!
SixthRéseau premiered 7,777 NFTs with an initial price of 0.4 ETH, quite a bit higher than many other projects. This collection aims to connect fashion with the Web 3.0 world. Every season, they will continue to launch collections of both physical clothes and fashion-forward NFTs. Only NFT holders will be able to purchase the real-life clothing. Sixth Réseau’s unique concept has resulted in their high volume of social media followers.
Metroverse released 10,000 Genesis and Blackout NFTs at a mint price of 0.1 ETH. Each City Block, as the NFTs are called, contains a portion of homes, buildings, and industry from the “Metroverse.” This allows holders to trade in search of their ideal pieces of Metroverse real estate. In addition to the Genesis and Blackout collections, Mini Blocks are planned to be released in the near future.
Kuroro Beast dropped 6,600 Golden Ticket NFTs which were mintable for 0.45 ETH. Holding a Golden Ticket gives access to two Beasts, which are playable in the Kuroro Beasts game. Here, players can participate in farming, breeding, battling, etc. Silver Tickets can also be purchased, which allot holders just one Beast. Golden Tickets are currently available on OpenSea for a floor price of 0.75 ETH, while Silver Tickets are resting at 0.13 ETH.
Just yesterday, Metamon launched 10,000 NFTs which holders can use as playable characters in the Metamon battle and survival game. Reaching higher levels in this game increases the value of the NFT characters, which originally minted for .2 ETH. While mintable today, these designs will be released on May 22nd.
That’s It!
